This marker is very special indeed.  My parents had their only other child together four years before I was born; the baby died the same day as her birth.  My parents were too broken up to put a marker on her grave right after it happened.  As the years went by, my mother talked about it but never did.  After my mother died in 1985, I mentioned this to my mother-in-law, and as a tribute to the friendship she had with my mother, she purchased the marker. I should have put "Beloved Daughter" on the marker, also, but this is something for the future. Thanks to a suggestion from a friend, I’m going to add a plaque to this with the dates for both of my parents (they were cremated and scattered) so they won't be forgotten, as well as "Beloved Daughter."
