Lefler is a small family cemetery located outside Gretna, right on Buffalo Road. There are a surprising amount of stones in this tiny cemetery.

The place looks abandoned, but it hasn't suffered much vandalism and is probably watched over by the occupants of the house right next to it. They could even be relatives for all I know. 

 

The cemetery is right next to a field, and really is out in the middle of nowhere. 

 

I haven't seen fencing like this in decades, and it's probably at least 80 years old, if not older. It's actually wonderful to look at, because it's weathered into its environment and isn't all shiny and new. It has character and authenticity. Fencing may not seem like it's comment worthy, but when everything old is being replaced with new, old is wonderful to look like. It reaffirms life.
